Politics

A new blog, so there is no way for the readers, which I do not think there are any, but what the heck, have no way of knowing where I'm coming from. I've made it clear, I'm a teacher, so assumption would be that I'm a liberal. I guess I am. I think the US should do what's best for its children, in my opinion, this is at the local level. On the WOT, which I think is REAL, they should KILL those who wish to kill us.

I guess you could say, I'm a conservative. The poll numbers are looking better for the US, http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls.html

GW deserves another term. I do wish that the Democrats had put up a stronger candidate on the war. If they had, they may have forced GW to really lay out his domestic agenda, which leaves more than a bit to be desired.

No Child Left Behind, may have been a good idea from the beginning. The nature of the test results including special ed kids, as well as gifted, (no where near an equal percentage), being factored into standardized test scores is more than a bit misguided. In my own opinion, both the high and low end should be thrown out-to determine how schools are doing, not to mention those that should be on a 'watch list'.
